Upcoming events/deadlines:

  • Celebrate Women's History Month by dressing up as Rosie the Riveter on Friday, March 28th! Rosie the Riveter is famous as an iconic symbol of women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, particularly represented by the "We Can Do It!" poster, inspiring women to enter the workforce and contribute to the war effort. The Rosie the Riveter campaign helped to break down gender barriers and paved the way for women to enter previously male-dominated fields. During World War II, as men went off to fight, women stepped into factories and shipyards to fill the labor gap, producing essential war materials.  Rosie the Riveter remains a powerful symbol of women's strength, resilience, and their contributions to history.
