Need a prom or formal dress? There are 2 opportunities for free or affordable prom dresses.
1) TODAY, there is a dress giveaway at First Presbyterian Church in Davenport from 5-7 pm
2) The Discovery Shop in the back of Cumberland Square has a big selection of dresses that only cost $25. They are open 10-4 every day except Sunday.
The Discovery Shop just got 400 new prom dresses. Heard they are beautiful and high quality - originally priced much, much higher. Ever wanted to be a part of organizing pep assemblies, dances, and service opportunities? Are you passionate about improving our school atmosphere and experiences? Bettendorf Student Council is now accepting applications for the 25-26 school year. Our Student Council is recognized as one of the best in the Nation and State, and we would love to see you apply! Applications are due on April 9th. After applications are reviewed, all students who applied will be interviewed, and your peers will vote for who they would like to represent their class. The Spring Seal of Biliteracy Testing will begin on Monday, April 14t,h during Pride. The cost for French, German, and Spanish tests is $25. Please see Frau Law or your World Language Teacher for a sign-up sheet. All money needs to be turned into the activities office. You can receive the Seal of Biliteracy for other languages besides French, Spanish, and German as well. Please see Frau Law in D263 or email her at elaw@bettnedorf.k12.ia.us for other language testing options and pricing.
Money for Seal of Biliteracy testing is due this Friday, April 11th. Please take your money and your sign-up paper to the activities office. Testing will begin Monday, April 14th.
Trivia night is being hosted in the commons TODAY at 6 pm! Money raised will go towards Senior Prom this year!
New collectable bookmarks drop! Check the traveling book displays in the Career Center, Student Services, and Ms. Huff's art room (G001) for the March bookmarks to add to your collection. Missed last month's drop? Ask nicely and the staff members will give you the bookmarks from last month too. Happy reading!
The 2025 Senior Awards season is upon us. Please fill out this LINK to be recognized at the April 30th awards ceremony. The form must be filled out by Monday, April 14th, please see Mrs. Cauwels in Student Services with any questions.
Upcoming meetings:
Conservation Club meets every Monday from 3:30-4:30 in room C302. If you're interested in saving species by planting flowers and testing water quality, or you're interested in going on field trips that include boating on the Mississippi River or hiking through forests, join us!!
Chess Club meets every Wednesday, after school, in the Cafeteria.
DnD club's next meeting will be on Monday, April 14.
Spanish Club will meet on Thursday, April 10th, after school in Mr. Dominguez's classroom. We will talk about the fundraiser for the Pulsera Project and end of the year activities. All are welcome, even if you have never attended in the past. Email Mrs. Zimmerman with any questions.

4/15/25 - Kirkwood Community College Visit
Join us for a tour of Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Kirkwood is the largest community college in Iowa with 13,000 students and over 120 programs.
